As I will always be completely honest:

all information about dimensions and
sizes cover for social networks , including banner, profile picture, etc.,  often change .

Thus the aim of this article is to provide information on measures and dimensions so that they can work with images on social networks , and also help with practical tips that can optimize the strategy of their brand, improving their image through Facebook , Twitter , Google+ and other sites.

Competition in S ocial Media is voracious, and can not waste any opportunity to attract new audiences.   • Covers for Twitter: 1500 x 500 px

While G + uses responsive design , and images automatically adapt to different devices , to ensure maximum quality appearance screens, tablets or smartphones , we suggest uploading them with size not less than  502 x 250 pix , or exceed 1080 x 608 pix, otherwise, some information will be lost.

  • Size profile image Vimeo: 300 x 300 px
  • Dimensions to upload video on Vimeo:
    • Standard Definition 4: 3 ratio 640 x 480 px
    • Standard Definition 16: 9 ratio 640 x 360 px
    • Video 720p HD 1,280 x 720 px
    • 1080p HD (Plus / PRO) 1,920 x 1,080 px

6. Measures Instagram 2018 🙂

  • Size Profile Picture Instagram: at least 150 × 150 pixels.

For photos Instagram profile, best results are obtained using PNG files.

  • Photos Instagram size in pixels: To get the best resolution, recommended for photos on Instagram dimensions are 1080 x 1080.
  • Oblong images: 1080 x 566 .
  • Size of Video / Photo for Instagram Stories : 750 x 1334 .

Image size banner LinkedIn: minimum of 1536 x 768 pixels, PNG / JPEG / GIF format, maximum 2 MB, horizontal design, the image must be wider rather than longer.

Image size LinkedIn logo: minimum size 60 x 60 pixels, 400 x 400 pixels is the square design recommended size PNG / JPEG / GIF format, maximum 4 MB.


Use visual elements (images and videos) in your posts is essential to your audience interest and draw you into your content. It is therefore important to use the correct sizes, so that the quality of your photos will attract the eyes of the audience.
