When writing a post for your blog or update your profiles on social networks, one of the questions frequently is: What is the character limit for each? And an even more important question is: what is the ideal number to optimize SEO or achieve?
E s probably know that the character limit for a tweet is 140. But know that a link occupies 24 of those characters, leaving you with just 116 for writing a tweet? Or did you know that the ideal length of a tweet that includes a link is approximately 120 characters, not 140?

While we have discussed what the perfect publication for your blog and social networks are different, we believed it would be useful to gather the limits and ideal numbers of characters, all in one Luga r.
Below is the short version as well as a more detailed guide to the limits and the ideal number of characters for your blog posts and your Facebook pages, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram. The length of your header depends on what your goals are and wherewill appear.
In our own analysis in HubSpot, we discovered that the headers with a length of between 8 and 12 words are, on average, the most widely shared on Twitter, while headers with 12 or 14 words get the most “I like ” on Facebook.
Outbrain companions discovered that headers with eight words had a clickthrough rate 21% higher than average titles. I recommend trying the length of your header to see what works best depending on your particular audience.
This probably is not what you want to hear, but the best answer to the question about the length you should have a blog publication is: as much as necessary . Number of words in HubSpot, recently analyzed the effect of the number of words in a blog publishing on organic traffic from our own blog and discovered that the ideal number was between 2,250 and 2,500 words.
We also discovered that items with more than 2,500 words were the most widely shared on social networks and obtained most of the inbound links.

Most believe that the character limit for status updates of Facebook is 60,000 characters, but the real limit is 63,206. Why? Bob Baldwin Facebook (it was he who established the limit) wrote in a comment on Facebook : ” I set the exact limit with a reference nerd. Facebook: Face Boo K … hex (FACE) – K … 64206-1000 = 63206. ” There you have the answer.

Want to add more text to your tweets? A simple trick is to add text to an image, as you can see in the tweet below. Here are some free templates to start (the best for Twitter are social media> rectangular folder).
In general, a link occupies 23 characters and an image, 24. It has a total of 47 characters, leaving you free 93 characters to write the rest of the tweet, including the space between text and tweet the link.

Note that if you update your Twitter status via LinkedIn, you should limit the number of characters to 140 or less.
With a maximum of 2,200 characters, Instagram offers plenty of room in their captions. However, it is important to note that Instagram recently began to limit the captions only three lines without requiring users to click on "More" to see all the caption, if they see the publication in its general screen latest News.
However, we do not recommend that captions are too short to allow users to view 100% of the text without having to click "More". On the contrary, start your caption with the most important content or calls to action text and let other hashtag, mentions with @ or external information to the end.
