As already published here on the blog , Google announced in August 2016 the end of the Hangouts On Air and suggested that the tool was replaced by YouTube Live.

Received with surprise, the announcement was made by the company in the pages of YouTube technical support . From the day September 12, 2016 it is no longer possible to schedule events in Google+, being necessary to move to the YouTube Live broadcasts scheduled for after that date.

  1. Place the title of the transmission and the date when it will happen. On the right, usually leave the video as unlisted not appear automatically on our YouTube channel. Important: in “Type”, select “Quick”. This is the simplest type, which allow you to make a transmission.

The created event will appear on the next page. There, you have a few options:

  • Clicking Start Hangout On Air, a window will open, and there, you can start the transmission of the event.
  • Clicking on the event title, you will go to a common page of YouTube video where you get to share the video link and code to embedá it on some other page.
